Great food it is expensive though

Busy place but it's to be expected considering it's inside DHMC

This Au Bon Pain is probably the only location you can find of the chain in over 75 mile radius and on top of that it is located in the food court inside the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Despite that, if you find yourself at the hospital and in need of a quick bite it is not a bar option. Having eaten in other locations of the chain in much more populated areas, I wasn't disappointed. The food was on par with the quality expected and the service was very professional and courteous. They were also a good choice for a vegan option of sandwich and soup.

My breakfast everyday

First ,the people that work there are so kind,always. Especially being @ this location is not fun so the extra bit of KINDNESS goes a long way. Also smart. All the women that work there especially during rush times. They keep track of everything, every order, have good communication with each other & in return it trickles down to the customer.

On several occasions I have dispensed black iced tea from the dispenser and had to leave it there because there was gobs of slime in it. In addition, I recieved a bagel that was supposed to have cream cheese on it and found chunks of egg in the cream cheese. I have also found wax paper in the layers of a breakfast sandwich and pieces of egg shell on several occasions.

I've gone 3 times in the last 2 months and the ice machine is broken every time.

Decent cafeteria food

Absolutely fantastic

Didn't buy there. I stopped, looked and absorbed the hundreds of calories in their wonderful pastries. Cost was too much. Went down the hall for a bag of sesame sticks and a coffee.

Don't watch how the food is handled. Staff have a permanent scowl and look of disgust while throwing ingredients around, scraping them off of wrongly made sandwiches.

Honestly, I used to stop there almost every morning for iced coffee because it's only $1.52 for a refill. Jacob, at the cash register, is always extremely polite and professional. That is the only nice thing I can say about this store. I've been going there on and off for 12+ years and, sadly, just about every other time, they make something wrong, they are rude to their customers, or there is cleanliness issue. Most recently, the man making the sandwiches actually yelled at me and then there was something (unidentifiable) in my iced coffee. The manager was prepared to refund my money for the coffee, but, for me, it was the final tipping point. I can't justify spending that much money at a place that isn't consistent, doesn't even acknowledge their customers when they are standing right in front of them, and continues to raise their prices.

Yesterday I had a Cobb salad and the avocado was brown and the bottom of the dish was liquidy. Hard to believe it was made fresh that day.

Always have the best food and goodies

Ok I have had enough . Why is it you guys can't seem to keep your ice working? You charge threw the roof and can' t seem to get it together. Several work mates and I go there every morning to get our ice coffee, more times than not they never have it ready. We only get so much time to get it and end up without. The food is way to expensive. Just because we work at a Hospital does not mean we make a lot of money.

This restaurant is always available in the hospital. And I think it’s open 24 seven. It started to get pricey since I got a cappuccino and one of five or six sandwiches that are good, and/or soup, and went there every day. No I just get the help he knew cheddar bagel with cream cheese three or four days of the week and it’s dirt cheap and I am just as satisfied. The people are friendly there. Sometimes it gets busy. The cafeteria is a good alternative.

Nice place to get coffee and sandwiches and/or snacks while waiting for someone having a Same Day Procedure or just to stop in after visiting someone or if you've had to undergo tests on an empty stomach.
